Being outside moves me. I moved to Alaska because of the mountains and trails and spend most of each season dragging willing participants out into the wild for photographs.

As you can probably see from my photos, I am a mother of two rambunctious boys and wife to one rambunctious husband. I was born and raised in Alabama and started working as a photographer during college at Auburn University. I fell in love with the look and feel of outdoor photography and started plotting for decades my move to Alaska. Upon starting a family I discovered, however, a whole new world in portraiture and lighting. I really, really, really love photographing people. No, really!

And most of all, I love it when my images move someone.
