Being outside moves me. I moved to Alaska (and now Idaho) because of the mountains and the trails. My favorite part of the past two decades includes dragging willing participants out into the wild for photographs. I am a mother of two rambunctious boys and wife to one rambunctious husband. My photography career started in Alabama where I was born and raised. My first job was as a contract and event photographer at Auburn University. After photographing a million people in collage, I turned to the great outdoors and fell in love with the look and feel of landscapes. I started plotting for years my move to Alaska. It didn’t take long to discover that adding people back in, through portraiture and lighting, to a landscape was really right up my ally.
In July of 2013 we left our home in Alaska to be back in the lower 48 and closer to family. We now call McCall, Idaho home and I love exploring all of it’s great spaces. Come join me on an adventure:)
