Being outside moves me. I moved out west because of the mountains and the trails. My favorite part of the past two decades includes dragging willing participants out into the wild for photographs and finding new vistas. My first photography job was in collage as a contract and event photographer at Auburn University. After photographing about a million and a half people in collage, I turned to the great outdoors and fell in love with the look and feel of landscapes. I started plotting my move out west, and after about 10 years I finally made it – first to Alaska and now in Idaho. If you’ve ever seen my work you’ll soon figure out that I’m most at home when splicing people and landscapes together into the same frame.
